Break out the Book Collector socks! It's time to get comfortable as you listen to the very first Book Collector Podcast!

This new audio series brings our archived articles to life, drawing on sixty-eight years of literary heritage. It's free and accessible to all, making it a 'must-have' for the bibliophile's audio library.

In this first episode we revisit an article from our Spring 1965 Issue; a personal memoir by Percy Muir on Ian Fleming, their friendship and shared passion for collecting books. The article is brought to life for us by renowned English character actor, Rupert Vansittart.

Future podcast episodes will be published weekly. Each one will feature an article from a past issue in The Book Collector archive. If any of our readers have enjoyed a particular article and would like to hear it read as a Podcast, we'd be happy to take requests.

Upcoming epidodes include 'Oates on Oates' from our Polar Special Issue in Autumn 2018, read by author, Bryan Oates. Rupert Vansittart returns to read part one of David Randall's article on J.K. Lilly, with part 2 read by our editor, James Fleming.

All this and more to enjoy as The Book Collector branches out to a whole new medium.
